What You Will Be Doing:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Aircraft Mechanic to join our dynamic team, focusing on the F-35 aircraft. This position will serve as a subject-matter expert on all facets of maintenance operations on the F-35 airframe as part of a Quick-Response Team designed to support pop-up tasking/operations anywhere in the world. Additional job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Frequent travel (over 50%), often on very short notice, to support maintenance events worldwide. The goal is to quickly and efficiently return aircraft to an airworthy condition and increase aircraft availability across various operations.
- The incumbent must be a self-starter, capable of making timely decisions, and willing to learn all facets of the nose-to-tail maintenance concept of the F-35 aircraft. When not traveling, the role involves working at an existing F-35 site as part of the larger Interim Contractor Support (ICS) infrastructure.
- Candidate must be able to acquire and maintain a flight line driver's competency card.
- Physical requirements include regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, performing repetitive movements, working overhead, and using hands to grasp, handle, or feel. The role requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting frequently.
- Must be a US Citizen. The position is located at a facility requiring special access, with an Interim clearance prior to start and maintaining an Interim/Secret clearance throughout employment.

Basic Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of hands-on F-35 maintenance experience, including familiarity with Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), Fault Resolution System, and related activities.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in 5 or 7-skill level USAF AFSC, CDI/CDQAR Navy NEC, or equivalent on Fighter Attack Aircraft.
- Knowledge of safety, tool control, FOD, supply chain, HAZMAT, quality, and security programs.
- Willingness to accommodate a heavy travel schedule with short notice.
Desired Skills:
- FAA aircraft and Power Plant Mechanic license (desirable).
- Proficiency with LM’s F-35 Nose-to-Tail maintenance concept.
- Experience with Low Observable/Structures Maintenance, Avionics Systems, and Weapons/Egress Systems.
Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance; US Citizenship is a must. Clearance level: Secret.
