Job summary

D.O.M. magazine is seeking Aircraft Mechanics in Smyrna, TN to perform heavy maintenance on corporate and regional aircraft. You will maintain and repair aircraft, engines, and components and document procedures with attention to origin and condition.

Qualifications

  • P license is required.
  • At least 2+ years of experience on any aircraft.
  • Corporate aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with heavy maintenance (CD checks) and jet engines preferred.

Aircraft Mechanics Needed In Smyrna, TN!Job DescriptionPerform heavy maintenance on corporate and regional aircraft. Maintain and repair a fleet of aircraft, engines, and components in accordance with all specifications and regulatory requirements. Document maintenance procedures, including details on component damage, origin, and condition. Practice safety-conscious behaviors throughout all operational processes and procedures. Conduct daily scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations. Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Perform heavy maintenance on corporate and regional aircraft.
  • Maintain and repair aircraft, engines, and components according to specifications.

Skills Qualifications
  • A P license REQUIRED.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience on any type of aircraft.
  • Corporate aircraft maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Experience with heavy maintenance (C D checks), and jet engines is preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled aircraft hangar located in Smyrna, TN, just 20 miles from Nashville. Candidates must be open to both 1st (5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and 2nd (2:00 PM - 12:30 AM) shifts, with schedules from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
