Aerotek Aviation is hiring skilled A P Mechanics for our client’s new Fort Lauderdale, FL location. You will perform maintenance on Gulfstream, Challenger and other corporate jets, including heavy maintenance, inspections and modifications, in an FAA-regulated environment.

Requirements include an A P license, at least 2 years of heavy maintenance experience, own tools, and the ability to work overtime. This is a contract-to-hire, onsite role in Sunrise, FL with a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Title: A P Mechanic

Aerotek Aviation is currently hiring skilled A P Mechanics to join our clients dynamic repair stations newest location in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our client specializes in in the maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification of Corporate Jets - primarily Gulfstream and Bombardier models. As an A P Mechanic, you will be performing various maintenance and repair tasks on Gulfstream, Challenger and various other corporate jets related to heavy maintenance, calendar inspections, annual / 100-inspections, pre-buy inspections, modifications, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance on various aircraft, including inspections, overhauls, and repairs.
• Conduct phase maintenance and troubleshoot issues as required.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with FAA regulations and company policies.
• Utilize personal tools to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work performed.
• Possess an A P License.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy maintenance.
• Experience with corporate jets such as Gulfstream, Falcon Jet, Learjet, Hondajet, Hawker, Cessna, Challenger is preferred.
• Familiarity with Gulfstream models G660, G600, G400, and G500 is highly preferred.
• Must have your own tools
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment

MRO Hangar Environment 1st Shift either Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday (10-hour shifts)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
