Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred from a four-year college; Associate's degree may be considered with additional years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Cirrus Design's manufacturing processes preferred.
• Knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Lean 6S practices.

Responsibilities

• Communicates company vision and organizational goals and objectives.
• Ensures all safety standards/policies are met.
• Monitors employee performance.
• Responsible for employee training and qualifications; assigns trainers and monitors progress.
• Executes production design provided by Cirrus Process Engineering and communicates performance back to targets.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Reviews production and operating reports to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems.
• Sets a standard of teamwork, coaches employees, and plans improvements to achieve on-time delivery with zero defects.
• Strives for process improvement, cost reduction, and labor hour reduction in assigned area.
