Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain and service the AS350 airframe across rotor-wing operations in Northern Colorado. The role ensures safe, timely transport of patients and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Starting salary ranges from $65,239 to $113,480 annually, plus a float stipend, IA stipend, and a sign-on bonus. The position requires an A&P license, valid driver’s license, and flexibility for 24/7 on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• AS350 maintenance experience required.
• Three+ years turbine helicopter maintenance, with 6 months in last 24 months.
• FAA Part 135/FAA regulations knowledge is required.
• EMS systems and aircraft maintenance records familiarity.
• Able to work overtime and on-call rotations.

• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking logs.

We're hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our AS350 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• AS350 Maintenance experience
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
• Related experience under CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
