Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on maintenance and safety of our fleet, specifically supporting Bell 407 airframes, under FAA regulations. The AMT must have an A&P license and live within an hour of the base to ensure timely response and compliance with the FAA drug/alcohol program.

A sign-on bonus is offered. The experienced technician will work with a team to perform inspections, maintenance, and documentation,

Qualifications

• Bell 407 maintenance experience.
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance with last 24 months balance.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• FAA regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and document part expenditures; update equipment tracking log.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; adhere to policies while complying with security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate effectively to coordinate with departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.

• Starting Salary: $65,239 - $94,567 annually

We're hiring anAircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our Bell 407 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bell 407 maintenance experience
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Must live within an hour of base
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
• Related experience under CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
