Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of our rotor-wing fleet at Watford City, ND. You will handle mechanical inspections, repairs and ensure timely, high-quality transportation services for patients.

The role requires Bell 407 experience, 3+ years of turbine helicopter work, an A&P license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotations. FAA compliance and safe operation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bell 407 maintenance experience or equivalent required.
• 3+ years turbine helicopter maintenance with at least 6 months in last 24 months.
• Valid A&P license and state driver’s license.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of FARs and EMS/maintenance systems.
• Ability to work flexible schedule incl. overtime and on-call rotations.
• FAA drug and alcohol testing program compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks; update equipment tracking log; process replacement requests; document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures and security standards.

• Starting Salary: $84,810 - $122,937 annually (including 30% geo modifier)

We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Med-Trans. This technician will be qualified to support our Bell 407 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bell 407 maintenance experience or equivalent
• Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
• Valid State issued Driver's license
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
• EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
• Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Inspection Authorization Certification
• Related experience under CFR Part 135
• Autopilot maintenance experience
• Avionics and electrical repair experience
