Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, especially with turboprop and turbine-powered aircraft.

Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) - Rover

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Rover FULL-TIME Opportunity in Ogden, UT

  • Starting Wage: $44.00-$56.00/hr DOE (including 20% geo-modifier)
  • IA Stipend: 2,080
  • Rover Stipend: 10,400
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
  • Schedule: 14 days on/14 days off

We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) - Rover responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our Pilatus PC12 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services, including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular updates to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking logs, place replacement requests, and document part expenditures.
  • Accurately document service paperwork and FAA information, adhere to policies and procedures, and comply with information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use effective communication methods to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Travel extensively to field bases, supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and returning aircraft to service safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate professionally with health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and operations team members.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • Five (5) years of turboprop and/or turbine-powered fixed-wing experience
  • Valid FAA A&P license
  • Valid State-issued Driver's license
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and planning
  • Possess basic aircraft mechanic tools and maintain accountability per company policy
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours, on-call support, including travel and working evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Experience under 14 CFR Part 135
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair skills
  • Pilatus PC12 maintenance experience
