Qualifications

Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Aircraft Maintenance Technician-Rover FULL-TIME Opportunity in Ogden, UT

  • Starting Wage: $44.00-$56.00/hr DOE (including 20% geo-modifier)
  • IA Stipend 2,080
  • Rover Stipend 10,400
  • Sign-On Bonus 10,000
  • 7 days on/7 days off schedule

We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Rover (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our Pilatus PC12 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services, including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and will provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required, and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
  • Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Extensive travel to field operating bases, providing support for scheduled maintenance events and unscheduled maintenance issues, returning aircraft to service in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Work collaboratively, and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate
  • Five (5) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid State issued Driver's license
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
  • Possess basic aircraft mechanic tools and maintain accountability of personally owned tools in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in the after-hours maintenance or on-call support team which may include travel and working some evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
  • Autopilot Maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
  • Pilatus PC12 maintenance experience
