Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a part-time aircraft maintenance technician to service UPS fleet, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with FAA regulations. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation in line with procedures.

Qualified candidates hold a High School diploma, a valid FAA A&P license, a valid driver's license, and at least three years of aircraft maintenance experience, with strong computer and IPC-reading skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of three (3) years aircraft maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems.
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to read and interpret Aircraft Manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalogues.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of aircraft.
• Operate and maintain UPS equipment safely.
• Run, taxi, and tow aircraft for maintenance and repositioning as trained.
• Determine airworthiness of aircraft and components per procedures and FAA regulations.
• Complete maintenance forms and data entries in the Maintenance Data System.
