Job summary

PSA Airlines in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician to perform aviation repairs and services necessary to keep operations on time. You will execute maintenance procedures under Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards to ensure safe, reliable flights.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification is required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport within 90 days of starting.
• Must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company standards.
• Keep work areas clean and return tools to assigned areas.
• Work on all phases of repair and maintenance of aircraft with company tools and manuals.
• Initiate proper documentation at start of each repair or inspection; ensure parts are properly tagged and described.
• Verify that installed parts are approved for the aircraft and visually inspected for damage or contamination.
• Maintain orderly hangar/workshop areas and support Safety Management System outputs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic.
