West Star Aviation, a leading MRO with locations nationwide, invites applications for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Statesville, NC. The role involves hands-on mechanical work on aircraft, panel removal/installation, troubleshooting, defueling, engine work, and ground support operations.

Strong English communication and basic computer skills are required. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and an Airframe & Powerplant license, plus a valid driver’s license or

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system and component issues.
• Defuel aircraft as needed and assist in engine removal/installation.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist with inspections.
• Provide documentation of work progression and open items for shift turnover.
• Tag aircraft components, parts, and panels; store properly by aircraft.
• Navigate electronic training manuals and maintenance databases.
• Work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off.
• Adhere to FAA regulations and company safety rules.
