Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT) in East Alton, IL. This full-time, on-site role covers AMT levels I–IV with licenses required and years of aviation maintenance experience. Expect work on airframes/powerplants, diagnostics, engine work, and more.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I.
• 2–4 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT II.
• 4–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience; corporate aircraft experience preferred for AMT III.
• Airframe and Powerplant license required for AMT IV Master; extensive corporate aircraft experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal and installations.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Assist in aircraft movement and performance runs/taxiing.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Communicate in English; follow FAA guidelines.
