Starting salaries range from $78,287 to $113,480 annually (includes a 20% geographic modifier) with a $12,500 sign-on bonus and an $2,080 IA stipend. Three years turbine helicopter experience and an A&P license are required.

Qualifications

  • Requires a valid A&P license with turbine helicopter experience.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • FAA regulations knowledge and EMS/aircraft maintenance systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical inspections, repairs, and provide statuses to Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory, update equipment logs, and process replacement requests.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures and security standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crews.
  • Coordinate with departments, vendors, and team members to support maintenance actions.
  • Collaborate with health and public safety personnel and AMTs/operations teams.

  • Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually (including 20% geo modifier)

We're hiring a Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Reach Air Medical Services. This technician will be qualified to support our EC135, EC145, H130, H125, and B200 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
  • Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Valid State issued Driver's license
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
  • EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
  • Ability to work aflexible scheduleincluding overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EC135, EC145, H130, H125, and/or B200 maintenance experience
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Related experience under CFR Parts 91, 135 and 145
  • Autopilot maintenance experience
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience
