Job summary

Flightcheck Commercial Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician- A&P Mechanic for the LAS Team in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves line maintenance, troubleshooting, and component replacement to ensure aircraft airworthiness.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3-5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P certification or eligibility is required.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance data and manuals.
• Must have strong communication and safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance per FARs and customer standards.
• Troubleshoot engines, landing gear, hydraulics, electricals and oxygen systems.
• Remove and replace components as required to restore airworthiness.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Read maintenance manuals and follow procedures accurately.

The Aircraft Mechanic will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company, FAA, other regulatory, and customer standards. Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems. Remove and replace various system components, as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck’s RSM, QCM, customers’ procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations
• Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standards
• Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Able to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments
• Must be customer service-oriented
• Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate
• Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc
• Occasional travel may occur
• Perform other duties as they are assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have 3-5 years of experience
• Must have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License
• Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
