Job summary

Flightcheck Commercial Aviation in Chicago, IL is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform line maintenance in accordance with FAA and company standards. You will diagnose and repair engines, landing gear, hydraulics, airframes, electrical and oxygen systems, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The role offers up to $47/hour based on experience, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and ongoing in-house

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English and interpret technical data.
• Customer service oriented with a focus on safety and quality.
• 2+ years of AMT experience preferred, with valid A&P certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft line maintenance per FAA, company, and customer standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, landing gear, hydraulics, airframes, electrical, and oxygen systems.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and documents to complete work.
• Ensure all regulatory and company paperwork is complete and accurate.

Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems.
