Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd. in Broomfield, CO is seeking a QA Inspector to join our production team. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and replace line replaceable units (LRU) on PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft, following FAA and FOCA regulations and approved procedures.

Responsibilities include inspecting production and demonstrator aircraft, recording work, removing fairings for paint, balancing control surfaces after painting, and inspecting incoming aircraft and parts per FAA RSM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Minimum two years of experience in PC-12 and PC-24 or similar aircraft.
• Experience with Pratt & Whitney and Williams engines is a plus.
• Knowledge of removing, balancing, and installing flight surfaces is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Job description

Pilatus is hiring a QA Inspector to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of line replaceable units (LRU) on Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 production and demonstration aircraft, in accordance with manufacturing specifications, approved procedures, and applicable FAA and FOCA regulations and standards. • Troubleshoots and maintains production aircraft as they progress through the completion process


• Inspects and maintains demonstrator aircraft and keeps in flight ready condition


• Records work progress in job cards, acceptance test procedures, and other production documents in accordance with company procedures


• Removes fairings and flight controls in preparation for paint and reinstalls upon completion


• Performs control surface balancing after paint


• Inspects incoming aircraft and parts as per FAA Certified Repair Station Manual (RSM) manual

What you bring

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)


• Must have an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license


• Minimum two years of experience in PC-12 and PC-24 or similar aircraft performing general maintenance duties.


• Pratt & Whitney and Williams Engine experience or training a plus


• Knowledge of removing, balancing, and installing flight surfaces a plus


• Strong attention to detail and quality

• The salary range for this position is $35-$45 per hour depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
