Maintenance Training Instructor
Pilatus is hiring a Maintenance Training Instructor to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will provide Pilatus Maintenance and Familiarization instruction to operators and Service Center technicians in accordance with the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, other OEM documentation, and FAA standards. What you do
- Conducts Pilatus Maintenance, Familiarization, and Troubleshooting Courses on site and at customer locations, domestically, and internationally
- Prepares and maintains up-to-date teaching materials, training aids, exam papers, technical regulations, and documents
- Actively updates and improves course material to reflect aircraft configuration changes pertaining to operation and maintenance
- Prepares theoretical and practical training materials for Pilatus maintenance courses and intra-company training courses
- Develops new course material and keeps up to date in area of expertise
- Works closely with Pilatus/Stans training department to contribute to quality improvement processes and ensure training courses meet Pilatus standards for all courses conducted worldwide
What you bring
- A&P license required, IA preferred
- 5 years aviation experience with at least 2 in aircraft construction/maintenance/development
- Thorough PC-12 and PC-24 knowledge and previous instruction/training experience preferred
- Knowledge of other corporate turboprop and jet aircraft, engines, and systems a plus
- Flight Safety International (FSI) instructor qualification (to be provided by FSI)
- Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills required
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
- Strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Good computer skills including MS Windows and MS Office
- Valid passport and approximately 25% travel required, up to 2 weeks at a time

- The salary range for this position is $86,000 - 107,000 per year depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
