Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required as educational baseline.
• 3 to 4 years of airplane maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Endorsement.
• Ability to obtain airport access badges (SIDA).
• Ability to obtain security identifications for airport areas.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates terminal or shelter airplane maintenance through team leads.
• Manages execution of the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Ensures teams are used efficiently to meet assigned tasks.
• Meets organizational targets per policy and strategy.
• Maintains clear communications with labor and management.
• Maintains effective working relationships with airport administration, FAA, TSA, and others.
• Collaborates with other managers to achieve mandates and targets.
• Identifies and escalates wrong-doing and corrective actions.
• Identifies training and development needs of AMTs during tenure.
• Provides feedback to supervisors and leads on coaching/development.
