Job summary

Allegiant Air in Mesa, AZ seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee aircraft maintenance activities and ensure compliance with 14 CFR, manufacturer specs, GMM, and OSHA guidelines. The role includes directing daily operations, prioritizing tasks, and communicating status to Maintenance Control.

The ideal candidate will have a 6+ year A&P background with 4+ years in supervisory roles, a Bachelor's degree or FAA A&P pathway, and strong leadership and safety skills.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the US and pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Aviation Management, or related field preferred; Associate's with FAA A&P license accepted.
• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
• Minimum six (6) years A&P experience on similar aircraft with at least four (4) years of supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises mechanics in maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and related tasks in compliance with 14 CFR, GMM, FAA and OSHA.
• Plans and prioritizes work to minimize delays, increase production and ensure timely aircraft delivery.
• Trains and assists mechanics in proper procedures and practices; evaluates on-the-job training effectiveness.
• Ensures shop equipment, ground equipment, tools, and vehicles are safe and in serviceable condition.
• Monitors safety guidelines and provides required safety training.
• Coordinates with Materials to ensure required parts arrive as needed.
