Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Clerk for our Maintenance Department. The role focuses on stocking and inventory of parts, monitoring shelf life, and shipping/receiving tasks in an airport ramp/warehouse setting.

You may travel between bases and work varying shifts. Responsibilities include issuing parts, handling ESD parts, and maintaining accurate storeroom records. Requires basic computer skills; Hazmat shipping training is a plus.

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Clerk in our Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to p erform storeroom duties such as stocking and inventory of parts and supplies, monitoring shelf life. This position will report to the Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor.

Essential Duties:

• Issue parts and supplies
• Ensure proper packaging and handling during shipping and receiving
• Handle electrostatic-sensitive device (ESD) parts
• Occasional road trip between maintenance bases

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

• Storeroom / Inventory or warehouse experience
• Basic computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trained in HAZMAT shipping and handling

Work Environment:

• Airport ramp/warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
• Use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
• All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
• Some travel is required

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
• Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from co-workers or tools

Employment is contingent upon a valid driver's license and clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

Starting Rate: $20.13/Hourly
