Job summary

Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), the largest aviation maintenance training school in the U.S., is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join as instructors. No prior teaching experience is required; AIM offers a 5-day paid instructor training program to help you transition to the classroom.

We offer two schedule options—Day or Evening—and welcome hands-on experts ready to mentor the next generation of aviation technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• At least three (3) years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Teach FAA-aligned curriculum in a positive classroom environment.
• Support development and revision of course materials.
• Record attendance, grades, evaluations, and documentation.
• Notify leadership of student performance concerns.
• Complete required training and participate in observations and evaluations.
• Complete other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
