Job summary

Contour is seeking a Maintenance Controller to oversee safe, compliant maintenance operations for the airline fleet in Smyrna, TN. The role provides real-time technical direction to maintenance personnel, monitors aircraft status, and coordinates support to minimize disruptions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work with Flight Operations, Maintenance, and Purchasing to expedite return-to-service and maintain DMIs and ADs in accordance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Formal maintenance training for large turbine airplanes required.
• Minimum 7 years as aircraft mechanic/inspector on large jets.
• Experience on CRJ-200, Embraer 135/145, or Legacy 600 preferred.
• Experience in airline day-to-day maintenance operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, compliant maintenance operations for the fleet.
• Provide status, action plans, and return-to-service estimates to OPS and maintenance teams.
• Communicate with flight crew to obtain necessary information for repairs.
• Plan and schedule maintenance using CMMS and logistics systems.
• Update maintenance tracking and Flight Ops software in real time.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Flight Operations and Purchasing to expedite returns to service.
• Manage deferred maintenance items and ensure parts availability.
