Job summary

Vets Hired is seeking an entry-level Aircraft Worker in Prescott, AZ to assist certificated Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) Maintenance Technicians. This hands-on role provides early exposure to aviation maintenance while building practical skills under supervision.

You will learn maintenance procedures, safety standards, and documentation practices, with progression based on demonstrated skills. Team collaboration is essential to support safe, efficient aircraft operations.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude is required.
• Experience in related mechanical fields is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn aviation maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work under supervision of certificated A&P Technicians.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate hand tools and maintenance equipment safely.
• Attention to detail and strong safety commitment.
• Team collaboration in a maintenance environment.
• Eligibility to progress through aviation maintenance training levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist A&P Maintenance Technicians with aircraft maintenance activities.
• Perform basic mechanical and maintenance support tasks under direct supervision.
• Clean aircraft components and work areas.
• Remove, prepare, and install aircraft panels and components.
• Assist with routine aircraft inspections and maintenance procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Support aircraft repair and servicing activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation as assigned.
