Job summary

Western Aircraft Inc. seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice to work alongside certificated technicians, assisting with inspection, testing, repair, maintenance, and service of general aviation aircraft to return them to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.

You will gain hands-on experience, maintain clean work areas, document on-the-job training hours toward A&P certification, and perform other duties as assigned in a busy hangar environment.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• Must be 18 years old with High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists certificated maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft
• Ensures proper care of customer property at all phases of maintenance work
• Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
• Documentation and tracking of on the job training hours needed to meet minimum requirements to qualify for A&P certifications
• Performs other duties as assigned
