Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Line Technician at our East Alton, IL location. The role focuses on fueling, ground support, and aircraft movement for various aircraft types, with responsibilities including vehicle and facility upkeep and strict adherence to FAA/OSHA/EPA safety rules.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft fueling per West Star procedures, following all safety guidelines.
• Towing and ground handling of aircraft using approved aircraft guidelines.
• Parking aircraft and providing customer support for passengers and crew.
• Provide background support such as vehicle maintenance, taking fuel loads from suppliers, and daily upkeep of the facility.
• Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
