Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering with 3–7 years of experience.
• Experience in design, integration and certification of electrical components in aircraft interiors.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft documentation systems (CMM, SB) and configuration control.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; multicultural exposure a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience with CATIA V5 and electrical design/wire routing within CATIA V5.
• Knowledge of PLM databases such as Teamcenter, Agile or Enovia.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good understanding of software programming and software configuration control.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate electrical design and integration of electronics into aircraft seats, coordinating Designers and Engineers.
• Plan, schedule and track engineering tasks; provide reports to Program and Engineering Management.
• Summarize customer requirements to the team and ensure expectations are met.
• Create ATPs by reviewing IFE/Electrical vendor tests and procedures.
• Create grounding/bonding calculations (ELDs) for ground path resistance.
• Perform root cause analysis on MRB actions and present resolutions to Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
• Interface with outside suppliers during the design process.
• Participate in telecoms with overseas engineers and program management; discuss manufacturing issues and potential innovations.
• Apply airframe regulations (Boeing/Airbus) and manage parts lists with high variant diversity.
• Create electrical block diagrams/schematics from vendor drawings and specs.
• Coordinate design meetings to discuss engineering issues and changes with customers.
• Respond to customer concerns with changes in IFE/Electrical component integration, per regulations.
• Support Purchasing and Production with BOMs and documentation for component sourcing.
