Job summary

Western Aircraft in Boise, ID is hiring a Line Service Technician to fuel, tow, marshal, and assist customers with aircraft movements. You will ensure safe, efficient, and friendly service while handling ground support tasks and basic quality checks.

The role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overtime, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in varying weather conditions. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to learn detailed procedures.
• Excellent at following specific instructions.
• Strong communication skills for team and customer interactions.
• Ability to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fuel various aircraft safely and timely.
• Tow aircraft from light planes to corporate jets.
• Park and marshal aircraft using hand signals; assist with baggage.
• Ensure customers have a pleasant experience and provide service.
• Conduct aviation fuel sampling and basic quality checks.
• Communicate with co-workers using 2-way radios.
• Perform facility clean-up and seasonal tasks (e.g., snow).
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
