Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Tulsa, OK is seeking a dedicated Fueler to support safe fueling, defueling and servicing of aircraft. You will perform basic math to interpret weight and balance data and operate fuel vehicles and equipment in outdoor airport environments.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with health and security policies, and readiness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. CDL or oil/gas experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic math.
• Handle fueling carts and hoses; lift/move up to 70 lbs.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; flexible to shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Prior experience preferred; CDL or oil/gas industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling safely and efficiently; operate fuel trucks and carts.
• Maintain accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and keep it clean.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Defuel aircraft as directed.

Job description

The aircraft Fueler responsibility is to the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircrafts at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
