Job summary

Menzies Aviation in the United States is seeking a fueler to support fueling operations at West Palm Beach. You will perform simple math for weight/volume and ensure safe fueling procedures while working outdoors in various weather.

Must be 18+, hold a valid US driver's license, pass color vision and drug tests, and be flexible for weekends/holidays. Prior CDL or oil/gas experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid US driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment color vision test.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Lift up to 70 lbs when handling fueling carts/hoses.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Available and flexible to work weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience or CDL/Oil & Gas experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling safely and efficiently; drive fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and carts.
• Maintain accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Conduct daily quality control checks on equipment and keep it clean and functional.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Defuel aircraft as directed.

Role Purpose

You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing:

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

What we are looking for:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience
  in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
