Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM is seeking an Aircraft Fueler to fuel, defuel, and service aircraft at the airport. You will read weight/balance instructions, perform basic math, and operate fueling equipment in a safe, compliant environment.

This role requires lifting up to 70lbs, working outdoors in all weather, and flexibility for weekends and holidays. Prior CDL or oil/gas experience is a plus, and safety policies must be followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to lift/move up to 70lbs and handle fueling hoses/carts.
• Outdoor work in all weather; variable shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently using fueling equipment.
• Accurately account for fuel transactions.
• Perform daily equipment quality control checks and keep gear clean.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Defuel aircraft as directed.

Role Purpose

The aircraft Fueler responsibility is to the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircrafts at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations
• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
