Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM is seeking an Aircraft Fueler to fuel, defuel and service aircraft at the airport. You will perform basic math to interpret weight and balance loading instructions and maintain a safe, secure work environment according to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities include fueling with trucks and carts, accurately logging fuel transactions, and performing equipment quality checks. This full-time role requires outdoor work and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic math.
• Lift and move up to 70 lbs.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred with CDL or Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and carts.
• Maintain accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and keep it clean and functional.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Perform defueling as directed.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations
• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
• This is a full-time position and the schedules available is : 15:00 - 2330 Tuesday and Wednesday off
