Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM in Florida seeks a fuel agent to fuel aircraft safely, drive support equipment, and manage fuel transactions. You will ensure accurate accounting, perform daily equipment checks, and handle loading/balancing of fuel.

The role requires physical work outdoors, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and flexibility for weekends/holidays. Valid US license and color vision screening are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid US driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment color vision test.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in Oil and Gas (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling safely and efficiently, drive fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and keep it clean and functional.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Defuel aircraft as directed.

Role Purpose

You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

What We Are Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience

in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
