Job summary

Debbie Z's & Demo ITA seeks an Aircraft Engine Technician to inspect, repair, and sustain aircraft engines for safety and optimal performance. You will diagnose issues, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure thorough documentation in line with aviation regulations.

Responsibilities include engine inspections, troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, overhauls, testing, and coordinating with engineers and other teams to resolve complex issues while maintaining rigorous safety and quality

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or certification in Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation Technology, or a related field.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft engine systems, components, and documentation.
  • Attention to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect engines using visual inspections and diagnostic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot engine malfunctions using performance data and manuals.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks and unscheduled repairs.
  • Participate in engine overhauls, disassembly and reassembly per manufacturer specs.
  • Document all inspections, maintenance and repairs accurately for traceability.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel, engineers and other departments.
  • Conduct engine tests to verify performance after service and ensure compliance with standards.
