Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Hybrid Podding Technician/Inspector in Savannah, GA. The role involves reviewing paperwork and build cards to ensure workmanship and documentation meet standards, with safety and regulatory compliance at the forefront.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble Rolls-Royce gas turbine engines and components, requiring FAA eye exam clearance and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Onsite schedule is Mon-Thu; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair or overhaul experience, OR
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair or overhaul
• FAA Airframe & Power Plant License required and U.S. citizenship is mandatory to meet eligibility

Responsibilities

• Operate precision tools to perform accurate dimensions per work scope instructions
• Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy before engine dispatch
• Access and use AMM, EMM, IPC and related engine data materials
• Read, interpret and apply Service Bulletins and FAA directives where applicable
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings; lift components up to 50 pounds; interface with customers as needed
• Lead capacity when directed by Operations and Engineering groups
