Precision Aviation Group in Coatesville, PA is seeking a Lead Inspector to oversee inspections and measurements of turbine engine parts. This role includes mentoring junior inspectors and ensuring compliance with FAA and OEM standards.
Candidates should have over 5 years of inspection experience, particularly with Rolls‑Royce M250 and RR300 engines. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, including health and retirement options.
The Lead Inspector serves as the senior technical authority within the Inspection Department, performing and overseeing precise measurements and inspections of turbine engine parts during the MRO process to ensure compliance with OEM specifications, engineering tolerances, and regulatory standards. The Lead Inspector provides daily direction to the inspection team, signs off on work, mentors junior inspectors, and supports the repair station in maintaining full FAA, OEM, and customer compliance.
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 60 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated: Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, height gauges, and optical comparators.
Work Location: Keystone Turbine Services, Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
Education/Training: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Technical school, associate degree, or military aviation training preferred.
Experience: Over 5 years of related experience in aviation inspection required. Turbine engine MRO experience on Rolls‑Royce M250 and RR300 platforms required.
Certificates/Licenses: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate strongly preferred. NDT Level II certifications a plus. Prior DPI authorization a plus.
