Job description

JMC Aviation has an exciting opportunity for Aircraft Engine Technicians to work with a global leader in the aviation industry based in Hartford, CT for both Contracting and Permanent opportunities.

This position comes with a competitive hourly rate and great benefits. Duties within the role are as follows:

• Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, for example, Thrust Reversers (TR), Major Periodic Inspection (MPI), Hot Section Inspection (HSI) in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals.
• Perform removal, installation, and replacement of engines and accessories.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft engines.
• Assist Aviation Maintenance Technicians in the operation of ground support equipment (GSE), for example, ground power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units.

A successful Engine Technician would have the following qualifications:

• Valid A&P License
• 3 years experience in Aircraft Turbine Engine Maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
