Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electronics Technician Level III in Solon, OH, to repair, overhaul, and test aircraft electrical components and subassemblies. The role focuses on circuit boards and requires independent analysis using advanced test equipment in a temperature-controlled lab.

The position offers a day shift on a nine‑month contract to hire basis with benefits and opportunities for career growth within an established aerospace/defense environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of component level troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Experience with circuit board test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair, overhaul, and test aircraft electrical components and subcomponents as required by work orders.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, assemble, repair, and test electronic assemblies and subassemblies to the component level.
• Exercise independent judgment in circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing signal flow relationships.
• Utilize complex test instruments such as digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and high‑frequency pulse generators.
• Disassemble, prepare, and inspect components, subassemblies, and final assemblies, verifying completeness for final inspection and shipping.
• Utilize test equipment like system‑level return to service equipment and subassembly component level devices to locate and identify malfunctions.
• Use a variety of hand and power equipment for tasks such as soldering, desoldering, crimping, and component insertion and extraction.
• Support the Quality System by adhering to procedures, documenting records, and meeting AS‑9100 and AS‑9110 regulations.
