Flexjet LLC in Cleveland, OH seeks an Avionics Services Technician to join our in-house maintenance team in the Technical Services Department on private aircraft.

The role requires troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electronic systems, installing sensors and radios, and certifying avionic components. The shift is third, with a later half of the week; candidates should have 4 years of related avionics experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • 4 years of related corporate avionics experience.
  • A&P preferred but not required.
  • Strong troubleshooting, service and installation skills.
  • Advanced certification in avionics preferred.
  • Must be able to work 3rd shift (2nd half of the week).
  • Valid Driver's License; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots, repairs, modifies and calibrates aircraft electronic systems.
  • Certifies integrated avionic systems at intermediate levels using shop avionics equipment.
  • Analyzes malfunctions and calibrates avionic support equipment.
  • Installs, aligns and wires sensors, radios, antennas and lights.
  • Performs continuity checks and functional test of complete aircraft systems.
  • Notify proper authority of any suspected unairworthy conditions found.
  • Operates test equipment and conducts functional tests to evaluate performance.
  • Maintains a clean, professional work area and communicates with customers.
