Job summary

CHIPTON-ROSS Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II in Texas to perform on/off aircraft electrical modifications and complex connector terminations.

You will read engineering drawings and specifications to modify and repair wiring and assemblies, and conduct testing on bench and flight lines. The role requires 4+ years of experience, ability to work rotating shifts, and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in duties as previously described for satisfactory performance.
• Experience/knowledgeable in electrical/electronic theories and systems sufficient to perform duties.
• Ability to work rotating shift.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs on and off aircraft electrical modifications to wiring and system components.
• Performs complex connector terminations, including shielded wires, coaxial cables and fiber optic wiring.
• Interprets engineering drawings, orders, and specifications to modify/repair electrical systems.
• Diagnoses and corrects malfunctions in aircraft electrical and environmental systems.
• Performs bench and flight line testing and troubleshooting per directives.
• Ensures safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.
