The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a part-time/seasonal Aircraft Deicer in Aspen, CO. The role involves removing ice from aircraft, inspecting for frozen contamination, and applying glycol-based deicing fluid. Safety is a core priority across operations at IDS and Quantem Aviation Services.

Applicants should be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess basic computer skills and a valid driver's license. Training and background checks are required for this location.

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• Successful completion of IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training.
• Airport badge or background check clearance required for ASPEN location.
• Must be able to speak and hear efficiently.

Responsabilités

Position Overview:

The primary role of the aircraft deicer is to remove ice from the aircraft. The individual in this position inspects the aircraft for ice and for remaining frozen contamination after the deicing has been performed. He or she sprays the airplane down with the deicing fluid, which is usually made of glycol.

(ASE) ASPEN, CO - 540 Upper Ranch Rd Aspen, CO 81611

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and make sure all company policies and procedures are being followed correctly
• Uphold and follow the duties related to de/anti-icing aircraft according to procedures for both airlines and IDS including inspecting aircraft for frozen contamination
• Ensure proper shutdown of pads, including paperwork and log books; that all maintenance issues have been logged and reported to maintenance and all proper shutdown procedures for the equipment are followed

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Intermediate computer skills
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
• Must be able to verbally direct in English
• Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives
• Successful completion of all IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training
• Must be able to speak and hear efficiently
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position
• Successful completion of the airport badging or background check process required for this location.
