Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a part-time Aircraft Deicer at the Aspen, CO location to perform de/anti-icing operations on aircraft. You will inspect for ice and contamination, apply glycol-based fluid, and follow safety procedures to protect crews and passengers.

The role requires basic English, 18 years or older, and ability to work outdoors in variable weather. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential.
• Must read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• Successful completion of IDS classroom and on-the-job de-/anti-icing training.
• Must be able to speak and hear efficiently.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• Successful completion of the airport badging or background check process required for this location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and follow company policies.
• Inspect aircraft for frozen contamination and perform de/anti-icing according to procedures.
• Assist in pre-planning for de/anti-ice events and check equipment.
• Ensure proper shutdown of pads and complete required paperwork/log books.

The individual in this position inspects the aircraft for ice and for remaining frozen contamination after the deicing has been performed.
