Job summary

Inland Deicing Services is seeking an Aircraft Deicer for Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. This part-time seasonal role supports day shifts and involves deicing aircraft, inspecting for ice, and applying glycol-based fluids in safety-conscious operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives.
• Successful completion of IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and follow all company policies.
• Inspect aircraft for ice and frozen contamination after deicing.
• Participate in pre-planning for de/anti-ice events and check equipment.
• Ensure proper shutdown of pads and complete paperwork and log books.
