Job summary

IDS Inland Deicing Services, LLC is seeking an Aircraft Deicer for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. This 3rd shift position involves inspecting aircraft for ice, applying glycol-based de-icer, and ensuring safe operation under IDS procedures.

The role is part-time seasonal with a pay rate of $20 per hour. Candidates must read, write, and communicate in English; IDS provides training to perform duties safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Successful completion of IDS classroom and on‑the‑job de-/anti-icing training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and follow all policies and procedures.
• Inspect aircraft for frozen contamination and perform de/anti-icing per procedures for airlines and IDS.
• Participate in pre-planning for de/anti-ice events (equipment checks, servicing equipment with fuel or glycol).
• Ensure proper shutdown of pads, complete paperwork and log books, and report maintenance issues.
