Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is hiring for a Lead Aircraft Deicer on a day shift at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The role requires supervising peers, inspecting aircraft for ice and contamination, and applying glycol-based de-icing fluid.

Typical hours run between 6:30 am and 10:30 pm, with part-time seasonal status and a pay rate of $23/hour. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, and demonstrate basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential.
• Able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Able to verbally direct in English.
• Tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives.
• Successful completion of IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and follow company procedures.
• Inspect aircraft for ice and frozen contamination after de-icing.
• Prepare for de/ice events by checking equipment and servicing gear.
• Log maintenance issues and ensure proper shutdown of equipment.
