Job summary

AerSale, Inc. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Composite Technician III to perform structural repairs, replacements, and modifications on airframe composite structures in accordance with FAA-approved data.

This role requires strict adherence to repair manuals and safety standards while working in hangar and ramp environments. The position entails reviewing work orders, using precision tools, and ensuring all documentation and quality control procedures are followed, with background checks and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 7–9 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Large commercial aircraft experience preferred.
• Must complete a comprehensive background check and DOT drug test as per DOT regulations.
• Depending on location, TSA/FBI background checks may be required to obtain an airport badge.

Responsibilities

• This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Review work assigned, obtain tools and necessary parts, and complete the job in a timely manner following applicable manuals without sacrificing quality or safety.
• Ensure that all routine and customer-request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
• Verify calibrated tooling is current and noted on paperwork.
• Follow safety policies to protect personnel, environment and property.
• Perform work in accordance with FAA data.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervision.

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Composite Technician III will ensure that all work accomplished is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data. Adheres to quality maintenance standards in accordance with the company's Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual (RSM/QCM) and other applicable manuals such as company and regulatory guidance materials. This includes Airworthiness Directives Ads, AMM Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, SRM Structural Repair Manual, Engineering Orders, Engineering Authorizations while performing structural repair, replacement, and modification of airframe composite structure and other advanced composite structures, including components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Responsible for reviewing work assigned, obtaining tools and necessary parts, and completing the job in a timely manner following the applicable manuals without sacrificing quality or safety.
• Ensure that all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
• Verify calibrated tooling used is current and properly noted on paperwork.
• Ensure that employees are always kept safe by following the company's written policies regarding environmental health and safety. The safety and protection of personnel, environment and property is our number one goal.
• Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data.
• Maintain the premises in a clean and organized manner.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management personnel.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 7-9 years of experience.
• Large commercial aircraft experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary preemployment test for drugs as per DOT regulations.
• Depending on location, you may be required to pass the required background checks for TSA FBI etc. to obtain an airport issued badge such as SIDA, AOA, or any other badge required by the airport authority. If required by the location, passing this and obtaining the badge is a condition of employment since the badge allows you access into the worksite.

Work Environments:

• Hangar and ramp atmosphere. Must be able to work in uncontrolled climate conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. Subject to continual loud noises. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands.
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing is required.
