Job summary

AerSale, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Composite Technician in Goodyear, AZ to perform maintenance on aircraft components and systems. You’ll follow manuals, blueprints, and ATA codes to ensure airworthiness and safety while fabricating parts as needed.

The role requires reading and applying maintenance documentation, working with hot bonders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A full benefits package and opportunities for licensing pay are included.

For more information, visit us at www.aersale.com.**What we Offer:** • Medical Insurance • 100% Employer Paid Dental, Vision, Life, Short and Long Term Disability Insurance • 401K with Employer Contribution • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) • Education Reimbursement (related field) • Employee Referral Program and Recognition Program • Paid Holidays and 15 Paid Time-Off Days annually**Job Description:****Compensation:*** Hourly Pay Rate Range: $22.00 to $36.00* Additional Hourly Pay Rate: $2.00 per license**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**- Perform such typical maintenance operations such as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting rigging and safety wiring, including powerplant and flight control removal and reinstallation.- Repair, modify, replace, or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness.- Know various types of aircraft sealant and appropriate method application for sealant as well as aircraft fasteners and basic methods of installation and suitable substitutions.- Fabricate parts as required and have knowledge of metal and alloys and where substitutes may be used.- Layout and perform complex structural repairs that are addressed in the repair manuals and engineering documents**Education and Experience:**- Experienced with Maintenance Manuals, illustrated parts Catalog, Blueprints, ATA Codes, Service Bulletins, routine and non-routines and other related maintenance documents- Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language**Skills and Abilities:**- Ability to operate safely all ground support equipment, (i.e., Main Lifts, Scissor Lifts, etc.) and possess the Company operating certification.- Able to perform hot bond repairs with Heatcon hot bonders- Able to do metal prep and metal bonds on wing with hot bonders- Able to co composite material hot bonds with hot bonders- Experience with wet layups- Proficiency with reading and understanding manual references for assigned jobs**Physical Requirements:**- Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. Subject to continual loud noises.
