Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker II for the GAC Appleton facility. The role involves fabricating aircraft furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies to detailed specifications, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The position requires reading blueprints, using power tools, and working in a team on the veneer shop floor. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in cabinetmaking; aerospace experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in cabinetmaking.
• Experience in Gulfstream inspection and process specifications preferred.
• Experience in aerospace industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, aircraft specifications and design/engineering drawings.
• Assemble, pin and glue cabinet shells; install hardware in subassemblies.
• Use various stationary and hand-held power tools to fabricate or disassemble furniture.
• Follow safety, 5S and housekeeping policies; use PPE to protect aircraft interior.
• Use material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and sign-off work.
