Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Appleton is seeking an entry-level Cabinet Maker I to learn and fabricate aircraft cabinets and wood-surfaced subassemblies from design drawings. You will work with laminates, veneers, and cap strips, ensuring quality with attention to detail in a team setting.

The position requires reading and following blueprints, basic computer skills, and the use of power tools. Weekend shift is Fri-Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, with full-time opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Woodworking, cabinetry, or related technical experience preferred.
• Technical certificate or youth apprenticeship in cabinet making is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic fabrication of aircraft cabinets and wood-surfaced subassemblies from drawings.
• Develop proficiency in furniture fabrication using laminates, veneers, and cap strips.
• Use material tracking system to create parts demand and sign off completed work.
• Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and protect aircraft interior.
