Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Appleton is seeking a Cabinet Maker I to learn and perform basic fabrication of aircraft cabinets from drawings. You will read design drawings, use power tools, and work to tight tolerances as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical cabinet making preferred.
• Wood working, wood finishing, or auto body & painting experience is a plus.
• Technical Certificate in cabinet making or youth apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic fabrication skills for aircraft cabinets and wood-surfaced subassemblies from drawings.
• Read design/engineering drawings and follow procedures to produce furniture components.
• Use power tools safely and maintain quality by following tolerances.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping compliance and support related initiatives.
